Entries are already pouring in for our third McAndrew Martin Charity Golf Day on April 27.
We’re expecting another surge of interest for the Rowan’s Hospice fundraiser after an article appeared on the Business page of the Portsmouth News and on its website today.
Our thanks to the paper for carrying the story and supporting this very worthy cause.
We’re aiming to make the charity golf day at Waterlooville Golf Club – our third so far – the most successful so far.
Our target is 100 players, and £10,000 raised for Rowan’s Hospice. We’re keen for businesses and supporters to sponsor holes and also donate raffle and auction prizes.
Stellar lots for our auction – the highlight of the evening’s proceedings – would really propel the final total towards the £10,000 mark.
Hotel stays, lunches, Red Letter style experiences, signed sporting memorabilia always catch the imagination of bidders.
We’re delighted that Rob Marchant – auctioneer with Clive Emson Auctioneers, one of Britain’s leading land and property auction houses – will be performing the honours at the auction.
The event has quickly become one of the premier charity golf days in the region with 18 holes of golf, competitions and a raffle followed by a two-course dinner, prize giving and charity auction.
Everyone is pulling together, so please do get in touch to sponsor a hole, offer a raffle or auction prize, and to enter a team!
The event is the first as we enter the next phase of our growth following a restructuring into six divisions: Building Surveying, Project Management and Contract Administration, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture and General Practice.
We've posted a few pictures from our last golf day in 2015 on our Facebook page at just to get you in the swing of things for this year's event.
