Where are you spending your weekend?
Portsmouth has been judged as one of the best places to live in the area, according to a new survey.
The Portsmouth News has reported that the city has finished 30 places above Southampton in the UK Quality of Life Index.
The study by uSwitch took into account crime rates, affordable living costs, salary levels, broadband access, working hours, life expectancy, hours of sunshine, household bills and disposable income.
It judged 130 cities with Portsmouth finishing 65th and Southampton 99th. Edinburgh topped the table and Bradford was at the bottom.
We have many clients all across the Portsmouth, Hampshire, London and the South, and see many desirable areas.
Naturally, different factors influence where people choose to live, including house prices and work. We’ve noticed strong demand for homebuyer surveys as the property market continues to remain steady, indicating that the region is still a popular choice for many.
With the weekend upon us, there’s the chance to explore the best of the area – whether it is Portsmouth or Southampton!
