Surveying the Autumn Bounce
The number of sales agreed in the residential property market has risen some 4.8% this September compared with 12 months ago, according to Rightmove.
The residential property sector traditionally experiences an Autumn bounce in the last burst of activity of the year, writes our Director of General Practice Ian Lee.
Although some sectors of the market are rebalancing – including more competitive asking prices in London – demand still remains strong.
Our General Practice department has noticed an uplift in requests for surveys and are advising clients to book ahead – especially if the market is buoyed by interest rates remaining at their historic low in the next decision by the Bank of England.
General Practice is one of our six disciplines along with Architecture, Building Surveys, General Practice, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Project Management and Contract Administration.
