Congratulations to all who took part in the Rowans Ride in Portsmouth recently.
Oranisers from Rowans Hospice have just told us that they expect to have raised a staggering £35,000 from this event.
More than 300 cyclists took part and we were delighted to play our part by helping out at one of the water stations.
We've raised nearly £7,000 for the charity so far this year from such events as our golf day and summer garden party in support of the hospice at Purbrook.
It was a privilge to be helping the charity once again, to give back to the community.

We handed over the substantial donation to Purbrook-based Rowans Hospice at our Summer Garden Party at the start of July.

Our Managing Director Bill McAndrew was joined by Directors Ian Lee, Lee Sergeant and Bruce Scott for the presentation to Eliza Dunn from Rowans Hospice.
Guests at the garden party also raised another £500 with a bumper raffle as part of our commitment to raise a total of £10,000 for the charity to refurbish one of 19 specialist in-patient rooms.

We had a great time with entertainment including live music from Alice and the Hounds and a disco as well as a brass band, a bouncy castle and a balloon artist.

Our expert architectural department designed The Old Loos at Drayton as a new headquarters for Brewers Sales and Lettings on its relocation from Cosham.
Judges named the two-storey development as among the best buildings in Portsmouth when they awarded it a commendation in the Best Re-Use category at the Portsmouth Society’s Design Awards.
